Smart book or PC based laptop with MS Windows and a built-in SIM card slot

1. 1) What you need (inventory):

   1. You Trustive PASS information: Username & Password (received online and by postal mail with your SIM card).
   2. Your own device: Smart book running MS Windows.
   3. Your Trustive SIM CARD with APN (mobilitypass.com) and PIN code: xxxx (sent with your SIM card).

   

2. 2) Turn off your smartbook

3. 3) Insert your Trustive 3G SIM card into your smartbook built-in SIM card slot

4. 4) Turn on your smartbook and open your MS Windows Session

5. 5) Activate your 3G radio

   By activating (different on each device) the adequate physical switch:

6. 6) Start the "GlobeTrotter Connect" application

   "GlobeTrotter Connect" should already be installed on your smartbook (packaged with the SIM card drivers)
   
   > Start the application by the Windows start menu:
   > Or double-click the desktop icon:

7. 7) Enter the SIM card PIN code

   

8. 8) Setup your Trustive account

   then in the GlobeTrotterConnect application, setup your Trustive account information (first time only) as follows:
   Click on the "Display parameters" (afficher les paramètres) link to open the setup screen (if not already done).

   

   Enter your Trustive account information ( Username, Password & APN) as received in the Trustive delivery letter together with your Trustive SIM card.
   Save your settings by clicking on the "Save" (Enregistrer) button.
   

   

9. 9) Connect

   Click on the "Connect" (Connecter) button as shown below, in order to start your 3G data session

   

10. 10) Disconnect

    Click on the "Disconnect" (Déconnecter) button as shown below, in order to stop your 3G data session
