Trustive expands Asia-Pacific network with Taiwan mobile operator

London - Amsterdam - 6 April 2004

Trustive, Europe's premier independent wireless Internet access provider, announced a major expansion of its virtual hotspot network in the Asia-Pacific region together with Mobile Operator MoBiTai Communications in Taiwan. The announcement was made at London's Wireless Lan Event, Europe's largest Wi-Fi show.

This most recent round of growth adds 500 hotspots to the Trustive network, lifts Trustive's hotspot total to 2,750 (1,700 are now live) and secures its position in Asia-Pacific with MoBiTai's "mobee LAN" 110 hotspots. Trustive also announced partner agreements in Ireland and the Czech Republic, bringing its coverage to 23 countries in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and the Americas. A complete hotspot list is available at Trustive's revamped website, www.trustive.com.

"Adding Mobitai's hotspots to our network opens new markets for us in Asia-Pacific and also gives our customers true worldwide wireless freedom," said Gavin Dresselhuis, Trustive Managing Director.

Joseph Lin, director of WLAN/Broadband Services at MoBiTai, which serves more than 800,000 customers, said, "We are excited to be part of the Trustive Worldwide Network. Trustive is a very dynamic and fast moving company within the WLAN market, not only on customer acquisition, but also in regards to expanding their network. We would see a long-term relation ahead where our customers will also be able to use the Trustive Virtual Network in the future."
